Beavers To Host NCAA Regional Gymnastics Championships

CORVALLIS, Ore. - The Oregon State gymnastics team will host an NCAA Regional Championship at Gill Coliseum on Saturday, April 6, 2002, the NCAA has announced.
The meet gives the Beavers a total of six home meets for the 2002 season.
OSU's home opener is set for Friday, February 25 after spending the first two weeks of the season on the road. The Beavers open the year at Denver on Saturday, January 12 and compete at California on Sunday, January 20 before competing in Corvallis for the first time.
Additional home meets are scheduled for Friday, February 1 against Washington, Friday, February 15 against Arizona, Friday, March 1 against Stanford, and Saturday, March 16 with the annual Shanico Inn-vitational.
OSU's other road meets are Friday, February 8 at Arizona State, Friday, February 22 at Cal State Fullerton, Saturday, February 23 at UCLA, and Saturday, March 9 at Utah.
The Pacific-10 Championships are scheduled for Saturday, March 16 at Stanford, and Alabama is the host site for the NCAA Championships, which are set for April 18-20.
