Three Bruin Divers Head to US Senior National Championships

Heidi Prosser, Regan Gosnell and Michelle Brown each qualified for the US Diving's Senior National meet, to be held August 6-12 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

Heidi Prosser will be competing on both the one-meter and three-meter springboards. Prosser qualified for nationals last weekend at the Zone D Championships, held in Stanford, CA, placing second on the one-meter (444.60) and seventh on the three-meter (406.65). It will be Prosser's third trip competing on the one-meter and her first visit on the three-meter.

Regan Gosnell will be competing on the three-meter springboard and the 10-meter platform. Gosnell qualified for the three-meter at the Zone D Championships by placing fourth (417.90) and was pre-qualified for the 10-meter platform from her 10th place finish at the Spring National meet in April.

Michelle Brown qualified on the one-meter by placing seventh (419.60) at the Zone C Championships in Midland, TX. It will be Brown's third trip to the Senior Nationals.

Jen McNally, who will be a junior in the fall, also competed at the Zone D Championships, but did not qualify for the National meet. McNally placed 12th on the one-meter (372.60) and 25th on the three-meter (156.65).
