Men's Basketball Player Kenny Crandall Speaking To Youth Group

Arizona State University men's basketball player Kenny Crandall will be speaking on Saturday, August 25, at the Tempe South Stake Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 10:45 a.m.
Crandall will be speaking to a youth group (ages 14-17) about his experiences during his time as a missionary of the Mormon Church the past two years. After returning home this summer from serving as a missionary in Oregon, he will return to play for the Sun Devils this upcoming season as a sophomore. Crandall was a freshman in 1998-99 and started in 23 games for ASU before leaving for Oregon. He is a native of Mesa and a graduate of Mountian View High School. He averaged 5.9 points and 28.4 minutes in that season.
Crandall will be speaking as a part of Sun Devil T.A.L.E.S (Talk About Life Experiences through Sports).
Sun Devil T.A.L.E.S. is a speaker's bureau, which arranges for student-athletes to interact with children in local schools and community programs on a variety of topics.
