Oregon Volleyball 3-0 After Sweep Of North Carolina A&T

ARLINGTON, Texas - The University of Oregon volleyball team needed just one hour and 19 minutes to get its third straight win, defeating North Carolina A&T 30-17, 30-24, 30-14 in front of 120 fans at the UT Arlington Invitational in Arlington, Texas.
The Ducks outkilled (48-29), outdug (38-31) and outblocked (5-2) North Carolina A&T and finished the match with a .398 hitting percentage. Oregon was stellar in Game 3, recording 15 kills in 23 attempts to finish with a .609 hitting percentage.
Senior Monique Tobbagi led all players with 11 kills and added six digs and three blocks. Junior transfer Stephanie Martin added 10 kills and four blocks for Oregon, while Lindsay Closs and Lindsay Murphy added eight kills apiece.
North Carolina A&T struggled to find its offense against Oregon, finishing the match with a .089 hitting percentage after committing 21 errors. Amanda Padilla led the team with nine kills and one block.
The Ducks finish tournament play against Arkansas Little Rock Saturday at 1 p.m.
