No. 2 Bruins Take Care of Syracuse, 2-0

Champaign, Ill. - Bruin sophomore's Lindsay Greco and Sarah-Gayle Swanson each scored goals Sunday, helping the No. 2 UCLA women's soccer team to a 2-0 victory over Syracuse at the University of Illinois' Orange & Blue Classic.
Following a scoreless first half, UCLA got on the board in the 50th minute of play when Swanson put the Bruins ahead 1-0 on an assist from Mary-Frances Monroe.
Shortly after Swanson's goal UCLA struck again when Greco, who notched her first-career hat trick on Friday in a 7-0 victory over Louisville, scored an unassisted goal at the at the 52:42 mark. In two games at the Orange & Blue Classic, Greco recorded nine points (4g, 1a) and leads the team in scoring on the year with 13 points.
In four games on the season, Bruin goalkeeper CiCi Peterson has yet to allow a goal, turning in yet another impressive performance on Sunday with seven saves.
Next up for UCLA (4-0-0) will be No. 11 Clemson this Friday at 6:00 p.m. at the USD Classic in San Diego. The Bruins will take on No. 21 Tennessee, also in San Diego, on Sunday at Noon.
