Stanford, Calif. -
Welcome to ESPN.com's moderated chat room. On Thursday at 3:00 p.m. ET, Stanford women's soccer forward Marcia Wallis is set to talk about the Cardinal's home tournament this weekend and the Stanford season.
Wallis, a junior, is Stanford's point leader for the 2001 season and has helped guide the No. 7 Cardinal to a 3-0 record. The Los Gatos, Calif., native has seven points on three goals and one assist. In addition, Wallis has started in every game in her career for a total of 45 straight. Against Florida (9/2), the flashy junior scored two goals, including the game-winner in overtime to give the Cardinal the 3-2 win. Last year, Wallis was second on the team in scoring with 30 points and 13 goals. Wallis earned Pac-10 Honorable Mention accolades for both athletics and academics. Also last year she was named to the all tournament team in three of the Cardinal's four tourneys. In 1999, Wallis was named Pac-10 Co-Freshman of the Year, following a 10-goal campaign.
