No. 2 Women's Soccer Defeats No. 18 San Diego, 2-0

San Diego, Calif. - The second-ranked UCLA women's soccer team handed 18th-ranked San Diego their first loss of the season, 2-0, in front of 1,177 spectators at Torero Stadium Friday night.
UCLA scored on a rebound at the 22:28 mark courtesy of senior Stephanie Rigamat. The goal was her fourth of the season. Senior forward Mary-Frances Monroe added to UCLA's first half lead, scoring her fourth goal at the 59:56 mark in the second half. The shutout was UCLA's fourth in five games this year.
UCLA improved to 5-0 on the season. San Diego drops to 4-1.
