Women's Golf Finishes Tied For 16th At Rain-Shortened Fall Preview

Auburn, Wash. - Soggy conditions forced the cancellation of the final round of the 2001 NCAA Fall Preview at the Washington National Golf Course in Auburn, Washington. Texas and Auburn tied for the team title shooting a three over-par 591. Rounding out the top five were Tulsa (592), Ohio State (594) and Michigan State (601). Stanford tied for 16th with a two-day total of 613.

Arizona's Lorena Ochoa claimed top honors individually shooting a five under-par 139 followed by Pepperdine's Katherine Hull who shot a two under-par 142.

The Cardinal's top finisher was Salimah Mussani who shot a 150 to tie for 23rd. Sophomore Kim Kouwabunpat tied for 41st at 152 while teammate Angela Rho tied for 64th with a 155. Junior Kim Rowton came in tied for 73rd after carding a 156 and senior Jessica Belskis finished 111th with a 165.
