Ken Simonton's Jersey on Display at the College Football Hall of Fame

The jerseys and pictures of nine players to watch for college football'smajor awards are on display in the College Football Hall of Fame's Race forthe Pantheon exhibit, it was announced Friday by the world-class museum inSouth Bend, Ind.
From a selection of preseason publications, the Hall of Fame calculated thefavorites to win the postseason honors.
The eventual winners of ten awards are honored in the Hall's Pantheonexhibit with a poster-sized picture, memorabilia from the respective winnerand a replica trophy. Also included in the exhibit are video highlights ofthe particular winner's seasons.
Three Heisman hopefuls are among those recognized, including Ken Simontonof Oregon State, Eric Crouch of Nebraska and Damien Anderson ofNorthwestern.
In addition to the Heisman hopefuls, 2000 Biletnikoff Award winner AntonioBryant (WR, Pittsburgh), and defensive standouts Julius Peppers (DE, NorthCarolina), 2000 Outland Trophy winner John Henderson (DT, Tennessee), LarryTriplett (DT, Washington), Lito Sheppard (CB, Florida) and Rocky Calmus (LB,Oklahoma) are recognized.
