Arizona Tennis Falls to Fresno State in Semifinals

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Paced by four match victories, Fresno State outlasted Arizona, 25-17, in semifinal round action at the World Team Tennis National Championships.

Arizona raced out to an early 10-7 lead on the strength of UA senior Steven Capriati's 6-1 victory over FS's Nick Fustar.

Fresno State would mount a comeback winning the contest's final three matches, highlighted by an 18-7 scoring run, to seal the victory.

Arizona falls to 2-2 in this weekend's play.

The Cats return to action Sunday when they face the loser of the Oklahoma City/SMU contest in the seventh place match at 9 a.m. PDT.
