Men's Soccer and Fresno State Play to 1-1 Tie

STANFORD, Calif. - California (3-3-1) played Fresno State (3-1-3) to a 1-1 tie after double-overtime. The tie ended the Bulldogs' 12-game winning streak versus the Bears.

After nearly 45minutes ticked off the play clock freshman Calen Carr tapped in the lone goal with 25 seconds remaining. Neither team played an exceptional half, but Cal recorded five shots over the Bulldogs one.

During the second half, FSU took seven shots, landing one in the frame to knot the score at one. Noah Delgado took a pass from Kupono Low on the left side in the 73rd minute. Both teams had more opportunities to score, as Bulldogs' goalkeeper Jeremy Proud made two saves and junior keeper Josh Saunders had four.

The two overtime periods were much of the same. Both teams had opportunities but couldn't finish. Cal inked two shots to FSU's four.
