Felicia Ragland Earns Preseason All-America Honors

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Oregon State University's senior guard Felicia Ragland has been selected to the prestigious Street & Smith's College Basketball 2001-02 Women's All-America Team, it was announced Tuesday.

Ragland is one of just 20 athletes selected to the squad, earning High Honorable Mention honors.

The Pacific-10 Conference Player of the Year, Ragland averaged 19.7 points per game and 7.5 rebounds per contest in 2000-01. Her .466 3-point field goal percentage ranked first in the Pac-10 and third in the nation while her 2.61 steals ranked second in the conference.

One of just eight OSU players to score 1,000 career points (1,165) and grab 500 career rebounds (527), the Tulare, CA native was a finalist for the prestigious Kodak Women's All-America Basketball Team and received District VIII All-America honors.
