UCLA Doubles Team Takes adidas Invitational

Los Angeles - The UCLA doubles team of Marcin Matkowski/Jean-Julien Rojer won the doubles title at the adidas Invitational in Indian Wells, Calif. on Sunday.

Matkowski/Rojer defeated Pepperdine's Al Garland/Calle Hansen, 8-6 in the final. In the semifinals, they defeated top-seeded Sebastian Graeff/Stefan Suter, 8-4.

In singles, Matkowski defeated Rojer, 7-6(4), 6-2 to capture the main draw consolation title. In the Flight-II consolation final, UCLA's Derrick Nguyen defeated Darin Goldstein, 6-3, 6-1.
