Pac-10 Basketball Tournament Tickets Still On Sale

Los Angeles has a renewed appetite for college basketball!

After the long hiatus of a conference basketball tournament, fansare responding favorably to the opportunity of seeing the powerof Pac-10 basketball again.

UCLA associate athletic director Ken Weiner stated thatUCLA has sold 2,350 ticket packages to date for the Pac-10 Men'sBKB Tournament at the Staples Center on March 7-9, 2002. Themajority of these orders came from season ticket holders in amailing that accompanied the annual Pauley Pavilion basketballseason ticket renewal form. While the Pac-10 office has not finalized theallocation of ticket quantities nor locations for each participatinginstitution at this time, it is anticipated that UCLA will receive upwardsto 2,000 tickets in the middle level of the arena with the balance of thetickets in the upper level.

The UCLA CTO continues to take ticket orders in the upper levelsfrom season ticket holders and other Bruin fans. Anyone interestedin purchasing ticket can call the CTO at 310/UCLA-WIN. Office hours are 9a-5p, Mondaythrough Friday.
