Baseball Holds Fall Camps

LOS ANGELES -- The USC baseball program will host its fall camps with the hitting camp taking place on Saturday (Oct. 27) and Sunday (Oct. 28). Both camps are for ages 7-18. Instructors include USC Head Coach Mike Gillespie and assistant coaches Dave Lawn and Andy Nieto, along with other respected coaches and scouts.

The hitting camp will cover the physical and mental aspects to hitting. Session I will take place from 9 a.m. to noon while Session II will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Fees for the hitting camp are $130 and will include a t-shirt and individual video. Players are asked to bring a hat, cleats, personal bat, glove and batting gloves.

The pitching, catching and defensive camp will take place on Saturday (Nov. 10) also at Dedeaux Field. Session I will be from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with a cost of $95 while Session II will be from 1:30 to 4 p.m. and costs $75. An all day package can be purchased for $150. Players should bring a glove, hat, cleats and catching gear (catchers only).
