Wildcat Soccer Player Suspended

Tucson, Ariz. (Oct. 22) -- University of Arizona women's soccer player Sierra Cristiano has been suspended indefinitely for violation of team policies, announced head coach Cathy Klein on Monday.

Cristiano, a sophomore midfielder, has played in all 13 matches this season, starting 10. She has one assist and 16 shots.

The Wildcats are 5-7-1 overall and 2-2-0 in Pac-10 play after sweeping the Oregon schools at home over the weekend. They will play at Washington (Oct. 26) and Washington State (Oct. 28) this week.
