Men's Hoops Exhibition On Sunday

Nov. 2, 2001

The USC men's basketball team, ranked No. 24 in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Top 25 Preseason Poll, opens exhibition play against the L.A. City Stars on Sunday (Nov. 4) at the Lyon Center on the USC campus at 7 p.m.

The Trojans, led by senior forwards and 2002 Wooden Award candidates Sam Clancy and David Bluthenthal as well as fourth-year starting point guard Brandon Granville, will complete the exhibition schedule on Nov. 9 against EA Sports, also at the Lyon Center at 7 p.m.

USC, under sixth-year coach Henry Bibby, opens the non-conference portion of its schedule against Wyoming at 6 p.m. at the Sports Arena in the Preseason NIT. If the Trojans win, they would play the Fresno State-Montana State victor on either Nov 14, 15 or 16. The site and date will be determined after USC's game against the Cowboys.
