'It was a beautiful rowing day,' said Husky women's coach Jan Harville. 'This is a great start to our season. All our crews rowed aggressively. You always hope for that at the start of a new season, when you have lots of competition on the team. Everyone is looking forward to Head of the Lake next weekend and another shot at good racing. It should be a nice way to finish off our fall racing season and get a good start on the whole year.'

The Huskies conclude their Fall racing season with the Head of the Lake competition Nov. 10. The race takes place on the Montlake Cut in Seattle and begins at 8 a.m.
