Men's Basketball Student Ticket Policy Announced

Nov. 5, 2001

CORVALLIS, ORE. - 'Ticket Tuesday' for OSU students begins Nov. 6 at the Memorial Union, and will be held each Tuesday that classes are in session. Ticket Tuesday will be the first opportunity for OSU students to obtain courtside seating at men's basketball games.

Students will be seated on the floor in Sections F through J, on the north side of Ralph Miller Court. Additional student seating will be located behind the basket on the west side of the court and in the usual balcony locations.

For the 2001-2002 men's basketball season, OSU student tickets will be distributed beginning the Monday of game week at the Gill Coliseum ticket window (RM 107). Tickets may be obtained on game days at the same ticket window one hour prior to tipoff. All students must enter Gill Coliseum from the north entrance off of Washington Way.

Student tickets are free with a valid OSU student identification card on a first-come first-serve basis while supplies last. There is a one ticket per student limit. Students are able to choose from assigned student sections, but not specific seats. The ticket will be valid only for the section chosen.

To be eligible for men's basketball tickets, students must be enrolled at OSU during fall term for games prior to Jan. 1 and during winter term for games scheduled in 2002. Students must present their identification card when they secure their tickets, and again with their ticket when entering Gill Coliseum.
