UA Women's Golf in Sixth Place After Second Round of Auburn Tiger-Derby Invitational

AUBURN, Ala.-Arizona's women's golf team shot a second-round of 304 to bring its tournament total to 31-over-par 607 and sits in sixth place after day two of the Auburn Tiger-Derby Invitational. Wildcat Lorena Ochoa maintained her grip on the individual lead with a second-round 73.

Georgia moved into first place by totaling a team score of 294, the Bulldogs now stand at 15-over-par 591 for the tournament. Ochoa holds a 1-stroke lead over Young-A Yang of Tennessee.

Junior Laura Myerscough is in 32nd place with identical rounds of 77 to stand at 10-over-par. Junior Anne Lee posted a second-round of 4-over-par 76 to bring her two-day total to 156 and is tied for 39th place. Freshman Miriam Kraschinski continued her development, posting a second-round 78 and stands in 44th place.

Junior Julia Kraschinski is tied for 54th place at 21-over-par, while senior Cathie Williamson, who is competing as an individual, is tied for 58th at 22-over.

The Wildcats close action at the Auburn Tiger-Derby Invitational with Sunday's final round. Play will begin with an 8 a.m. EST shotgun start.
