Women's Golf In 12th After Second Round Of Auburn Invitational

Auburn, AL - The Stanford women's golf team once again shot a 35-over par 323 today and remain in 12th place after the second day of the Auburn Tiger-Derby Invitational at the Auburn University Club. Georgia moved into first place after shooting a 294 today for a two-day total of 591. Tennessee is second, just one stroke back at 592. Rounding out the top five teams are Auburn (596), Duke (596) and Tulsa (605).

Arizona's Lorena Ochoa continues to sit a top the leaderboard with a four-under par 140 after the second round. Young-A Yang from Tennesse is one stroke back at three-under par 141.

Stanford's Kim Rowton moved into a tie for 22nd at eight-over 152 after shooting a 74 today. Sophomore Kim Kouwabunpat is now 51st (83-79--162) while teammate Jessica Belskis is tied for 54th (83-82--165). Freshman Wendra Liang is tied for 61st overall (79-88--167).

The tournament will conclude tomorrow with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. at the golf course.
