Women's Golf Finishes 12th At Auburn Invitational

Auburn, Alabama - The Stanford women's golf team shot a 319 on the final day of competition at the Auburn Tiger-Derby Invitational to finish 12th overall. Georgia won the tournament with a total score of 885. Auburn finished five strokes back to take second (890). Rounding out the top five were Tennessee (892), Arizona (899) and Duke (902).

The Cardinal was led by junior Kim Rowton who tied for 24th in the individual standings (78-74-76--228). Sophomore Kim Kouwabunpat placed 51st with a 239 (83-79-77) while senior Jessica Belskis and freshman Wendra Liang tied for 60th with a 249.

Arizona's Lorena Ochoa took top honors shooting a six-under par 210 for the weekend. Georgia's Summer Sirmons and Tennessee's Young-A Yang tied for a distant second at even par 216.
