<b>Cougar Football To Be Featured On 'The Slant'</b>

PULLMAN, Wash. - The 9-1 Washington State football team will be featured this week on the NCAA football theme show 'The Slant' airing this Friday at 3 p.m., on Fox Sports Northwest.

The show was taped during the Cougars 20-14 victory over UCLA, Nov. 3. Among the stories featured in the half-hour broadcast is host Tim Beggy driving the Cougar 'Helmet Car,' and the Washington National Guard's cannon almost blowing him off the roof of the Compton Union Building. In addition, wide receiver Collin Henderson's family is featured in a story about their support of Henderson and the Cougar football team.

The show also features former UCLA Head Coach and College Football Hall of Fame enshrinee Terry Donahue, Iowa State quarterback Seneca Wallace, Georgia's freshman wide receiver Fred Gibson and Georgetown's record-breaking quarterback Eddie Eviston.
