Men's Basketball Faces Lewis-Clark State

PULLMAN, Wash. -- The Washington State men's basketball team concludes its exhibition season Thursday against Lewis-Clark State College. Game time is 7 p.m.

While the game will be an exhibition for the Cougars, it will serve as the season opener for the Warriors.

WSU won its exhibition opener 93-58 over the Brisbane Capitals, Nov. 7.

In that game, all five Cougar starters scored in double figures led by junior Jerry McNair's 23 points. Junior Milton Riley recorded a double-double with 13 points and a game-high 11 rebounds.

Sophomore Marcus Moore tallied 18 points, dished out nine assists and notched seven steals. Other WSU players in double figure scoring were senior J Locklier and junior Justin Lyman with 22 and 13 points, respectively.

After closing their exhibition season, the Cougars will begin preparation for their regular season opener Tuesday, Nov. 20 versus Colorado State at the Spokane Arena. The game against the Rams will be WSU's only appearance in the Spokane Arena this season.
