Volleyball's Logan Tom Earns Third Consecutive Pac-10 Player Of The Week Honors

Walnut Creek, Calif. - Stanford's Logan Tom has been named the Pac-10 Player of the Week for November 12 - 18, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.

Tom, a junior from Salt Lake City, Utah, helped Stanford clinch a shareof the Pac-10 title last weekend with wins over Arizona State andfourth-ranked Arizona. Overall, she posted 45 kills (5.63 kpg), 22 digs(2.75 dpg) and six blocks (0.75 bpg) while hitting .407.

In Stanford's 3-0 win over the Sun Devils, Tom tallied 25 kills, 11 digsand three blocks while hitting at a .396 clip. The following night inTucson, she recorded 20 kills (.419), 11 digs and three blocks in theCardinal's 3-2 victory over Arizona.

Tom has now recorded three consecutive and five overall Conference playerof the week honors this season, the first time in Pac-10 history each hasoccured.

It was the seventh weekly honor in Tom's career, Stanford's 45th honorall-time.
