Nov. 26, 2001

TEMPE, Ariz. -- Four student-athletes on the Arizona State Volleyball team have been commended for their outstanding achievements on the court and in the classroom by being named to the 2001 Pac-10 All-Academic Volleyball Team.

Senior outside hitter Jami Coughlin and junior middle blocker Julia Leddy were named to the first team, while sophomore setter Cheryl Anglin and sophomore outside hitter Kim Mehlhorn were both honorable mention selections.

Coughlin, who carries a perfect 4.0 GPA in Special Education into her final semester in the classroom, repeats for the third year in a row on the Pac-10 All-Academic first team. Leddy improved up on her second team status from a year ago. Both student-athletes were selected to the Verizon District VIII Academic team last week.
