Washington Swimming Plays Host To 54th Annual Husky Invitational

SEATTLE - The 54th annual Husky Invitational is set to kick-off this Thursday, November 29, with the 1000-yard freestyle in Federal Way, Wash. The four-day swimming meet, which runs through December 2, will feature nearly 400 swimmers on both the collegiate and club levels from across the country.

The 1000-yard freestyle, which will be the only event on Thursday, will start at 6 p.m. The preliminaries over the next three days will begin at 9:30 a.m., while the finals will kick off at 5:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 4:30 p.m. on Sunday at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatics Center.

The host University of Washington men's and women's teams will be joined in the collegiate division by Central Washington University, the University of Puget Sound, Whitworth College and the 10th-ranked UCLA women's squad.
