Two Women's Soccer Players named to NSCAA West Region Soccer Team

Berkeley - Cal junior forward Laura Schott and sophomore midfielder Kim Yokers were selected to National Soccer Coaches Association of America West Region Soccer Teams yesterday.

Schott, who was selected to the second team, was also named 1st team All-Pac-10 this season, and was a first team All-American last season. This year, she led the Pac-10 in scoring for the second straight year, with 15 goals and three assists, totaling an eye-popping 33 points on the year. In her three years at Cal, she has totaled 49 goals and 12 assists, bringing her to a three-season total of 110 points.

Yokers, who is in her second season with the Bears, was selected third team all-region and second team All-Pac-10 this season. In 2001, she knocked in three goals and six assists for a total of 12 points. Her efforts this season bring her career points total to 20.
