Volleyball's Olsovsky, Ross and Pahl Named To AVCA All-Region Team

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - USC women's volleyball standouts - Katie Olsovsky, April Ross and Jennifer Pahl - were named to the 2001 AVCA All-Pacific Region team, announced Wednesday, Dec. 5, by the AVCA.

This is the second consecutive honor for Ross and Pahl, and the first for Olsovsky. Ross was also honored as the Pacific Region Freshman of the Year in 2000.

Between the three of them, they led the team in kills (Ross, 4.04 kpg), digs (Ross, 2.97 dpg), blocks (Olsovsky, 1.24 bpg) and attack percentage (Pahl, .396).

USC will face Ohio State on Thursday, Dec. 6, at 7 p.m. in the NCAA regional semifinal at the Sports Arena.
