Washington Suspends Tight End Kevin Ware

Seattle - Washington head football coach Rick Neuheisel announced today that he has indefinitely suspended junior tight end Kevin Ware for a violation of team rules.

Ware appeared in 10 games for Washington during the 2001 season and recorded seven reception for 102 yards. He started seven times during the season. Ware is a native of Spring, Texas.

Washington's next game is on Dec. 28 when the Huskies face Texas in the Culligan Holiday Bowl in San Diego.
