Several Football Bruins Scheduled To Play In All-Star Games

At least nine UCLA football seniors will be playing in post-season all-star games over the next few weeks.

Defensive tackle Anthony Fletcher is scheduled to play in the Blue-Gray Game on Christmas Day in Montgomery, AL.

Four Bruins have been selected to play in the inaugural Paradise Bowl on Jan. 12 at Dixie State College in St. George, UT -- center Troy Danoff, Fletcher, quarterback Scott McEwan and safety Jason Stephens.

Outside linebacker Ryan Nece and defensive tackle Ken Kocher are scheduled to play in the East-West Shrine Game in San Francisco on Jan. 12. Nece has also been invited to the Hula Bowl, to be played in Maui, HI on Feb. 2.

Middle linebacker Robert Thomas and defensive end Kenyon Coleman are scheduled to play in the Senior Bowl in Mobile, AL on Jan. 26. Wide receiver Brian Poli-Dixon has accepted an invitation to play in the Rotary Gridiron Classic in Orlando, FL on Jan. 26.

Other Bruin players may be added to rosters in the coming weeks.
