Four Beaver Wrestlers Ranked

CORVALLIS, Ore. - Oregon State has four wrestlers in this week's national rankings issued by Amateur Wrestling News magazine and the InterMat website. OSU 133-pounder Nathan Navarro, 141-pounder Casey Horn, 174-pounder Nathan Coy and heavyweight Jason Cooley are all ranked among the nation's top 20 wrestlers at their weight by both services.

Cooley, a senior, is ranked ninth by AWN and seventh by IM. Cooley has a 7-4 record this season.

Coy, a senior, is ranked 12th by AWN and 15th by IM. Coy has a 6-5 record this season.

Navarro, a senior, is ranked 17th by AWN and 15th by IM. Navarro has a 13-4 record with one pin this season.

Horn, a junior, is ranked 19th by AWN and 15th by IM. Horn has a 17-6 record with a team-high eight pins this season.

Oregon State (7-6 overall, 2-1 Pacific-10) does not have a meet this weekend. The Beavers return to action Jan. 26 with a meet at California-Davis at 12 noon and a meet at Stanford at 7 p.m., on Jan. 27, OSU completes its trip with a meet at Cal Poly at 2 p.m.
