Stanford Routs WSU, 104-57

PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) - Cori Enghusen made sure Stanford continued itsdominance of Washington State.

Enghusen scored 24 points as No. 4 Stanford won its ninth straight game, a104-57 rout of Washington State on Thursday night, and improved to 33-0all-time against the Cougars.

'Cori has been playing great,' Stanford coach Tara VanDerveer said. 'Herplaying like this can take us to the next level.'

Freshman Azella Perryman scored 10 points and added a game-high 13 reboundsfor the Cardinal (17-1, 7-0 Pac-10), who led 53-21 at halftime.

'We got on a roll early, and I like how our team stayed focused,'VanDerveer said. 'We played very well tonight.'

Brittney Hawks scored 21 points for the Cougars (2-16, 0-8), who lost theirschool-record 13th straight game.

The Cardinal, who led 53-21 at halftime, shot 21-of-31 in the first half,including 7-of-9 from behind the 3-point arc. The Cougars shot 10-of-37 andmade 1-of-5 3-pointers.

Stanford outrebounded the Cougars 42-30 and forced Washington State into 24turnovers.

'Their forwards ran the court very well tonight,' Washington State coachJenny Przekwas said. 'We need to be more consistent. We shot well in thesecond half, and I'm happy that we scored 57 points against such a gooddefensive team.'
