Sun Devil Baseball Releases Radio Schedule For 2002 Season

TEMPE, Ariz. - The Sun Devil Sports Network announced today it will carry up to 38 Arizona State Baseball games (plus all postseason play) on XTRA Sports 910 in Phoenix for the 2002 season. The network continues its dedication to delivering accurate, in-depth coverage of Sun Devil Athletics. All broadcasted games will also be available to listen to over the internet via the official website of Arizona State Athletics, www.TheSunDevils.com.
In addition to the 38 games on radio, all games can be followed on www.TheSunDevils.com through the Live Stats feature that debuted last season.

Tim Healey, the voice of the Sun Devils, will return as the play-by-play announcer for the 2002 season. Healey is also responsible for ASU football and men's basketball play-by-play. He is a veteran of the press box who has been covering Arizona State sports for nearly two decades.
Arizona State sports historian and journalist Bob Eger will return as the color analyst. He is the author of Maroon and Gold: A History of ASU Athletics. Eger is a seven-time Arizona Sportswriter of the Year who has covered ASU athletics in various journalistic capacities for more than 40 years spanning parts of six decades. He is curator of ASU's new Athletics Hall of Fame.
Pending games will be broadcast if there are no conflicts with Arizona State Men's and Women's Basketball.
The Sun Devil Sports Network is a division of Viacom Outdoor and holds the exclusive media rights to Arizona State Athletics. The network is responsible for handling radio coverage, the official website (www.TheSunDevils.com), television rights and stadium signage. On-air personalities are selected and compensated by the network with the approval of Arizona State University.
