Tennis Team Posts Clean Sweep Against San Diego

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The 12th-ranked USC men's tennis team (2-0) earned its second win of the season with a 7-0 sweep over San Diego, Friday afternoon at Marks Tennis Stadium.

After sweeping all three doubles matches, the Trojans held the Toreros to bare minimum by notching six straight-set victories in singles play. USC was led by senior Andrew Park who lost just three games in his match, dispatching of Ricardo Rizo, 6-2, 6-1, at No. 1 singles.

The Trojans return to action on Friday, Feb. 1, when they travel to crosstown rival UCLA in the first of two meetings for the Lexus Gauntlet Challenge. The match will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the Los Angeles Tennis Center.
