Women Of Troy Tied For Seventh After Second Round Of TRW Regional Challenge

The No. 12 USC women's golf team shot 304 Tuesday to move into a tie for seventh place with one round to go at the TRW Regional Challenge, held at Palos Verdes Golf Course in Palos Verdes Estates, Calif., on Mon.-Wed.
The Women of Troy have a two-day total of 610, 35 strokes behind team leader Tulsa (575). Texas is second (594), followed by Arizona State (599) and Arizona (601).
Junior Mikaela Parmlid leads USC with a total of 145 to put her in a tie for seventh, seven strokes back of Arizona's Lorena Ochoa (138). Stacy Prammanasudh of Tulsa is in second (141), followed by Christina Cano of Oklahoma State, Nuria Clau of Wake Forest, Angela Jerman of Georgia and Dani Mallon of Tulsa in a four-way tie for third (143).
Also for USC, junior Becky Lucidi is tied for 18th (150), sophomore Anna Rawson is tied for 38th (154), junior Yon Yim is tied for 74th (161), freshman Fleming Helmstadter (competing as an individual) is tied for 79th (162) and sophomore Kelsey Kurkin is 92nd (174).
Play finishes up on Wednesday with round three teeing off with a shotgun start at 8 a.m.
