No. 12 Huskies Sweep Women's Tennis 7-0

SEATTLE, Wash. - Despite opening competition with a victory from doubles tandem Davina Mendiburu and Courtney Nagle, the No. 60 Ducks were swept in singles competion and outscored 7-0 in a dual match loss to No. 12 Washington on Saturday afternoon at the Nordstrom Tennis Center.

Mendiburu and Nagle topped the Washington duo of Claire Carter and Darija Klaic 8-4 for the sole Duck victory. In singles competition, the Huskies dominated, winning all six matches in straight sets.

The Huskies improved to 8-1 with the win, while the Ducks dropped to 7-4. Up next the Ducks face Washington State Sunday in Pullman, with play starting at 12:00 p.m.
