Women's Tennis Drops Second Match in L.A.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The No. 44 Arizona women's tennis team was defeated on Saturday by No. 11 UCLA, 6-1. Freshman Dianne Hollands provided the only win of the day for the Wildcats when she defeated UCLA's Sarah Gregg, 6-2, 6-0.

UA's No. 27 Maja Mlakar was topped by No. 5 Megan Bradley of UCLA, 7-6, 6-3. Arizona sophomore Debbie Larocque, No. 90, fell short in her bid to upset No. 4 Sara Walker of UCLA, 6-1, 6-1.

In doubles action, UA's Mlakar and Larocque, No. 21, were tripped up by No. 4 Petya Marinova and Walker of UCLA, 8-2.

The Wildcats continue their road trip against No. 7 Arizona State on Feb. 27 in Tempe.
