Sun Devil Women to Face Arizona in First Game of Inaugural Pac-10 Women's Basketball Tournament

The third-seeded Arizona State women's basketball team has earned a rematch with intrastate rival Arizona at 2:15 p.m. PST/3:15 p.m. MST on Saturday, March 2 in the first ever State Farm Pac-10 Conference Women's Basketball Tournament.
The women's tournament will be held March 1-4 at McArthur Court in Eugene, Ore.
As the No. 3 seed, Arizona State has earned a first-round bye and will face sixth-seeded Arizona again after splitting the season series with the Wildcats with a loss in Tucson on Saturday.
The semifinals and championship game of the Pac-10 Tournament on March 3 and 4 will be televised live by Fox Sports Net, while all of ASU's games in the Pac-10 Tournament will be broadcast by XTRA 910 AM and on the internet at www.thesundevils.com.
With their first back-to-back 20-win seasons in 19 years, the Sun Devils finished the regular season with a 21-8 overall mark and a 12-6 conference record. ASU tied for second in the conference regular-season standings, which gives the team its two best conference finishes in school history after capturing a share of the Pac-10 title last year.
