Women's Golf Finishes 13th At Arizona Invitational

Tucson, Ariz. - Sophomore Anna Rawson shot a third round 69 and finish tied for 25th individually to help lead the No. 12 USC women's golf team to 13th place at the Arizona Wildcat Invitational held at The Raven Golf Course in Tucson, Ariz., on Mon.-Tues.

The Women of Troy shot 921 overall, 45 strokes back of team champion Duke. Auburn and Arizona tied for second (883), followed by Oklahoma State (888) and Texas and Tennessee (893).

Rawson shot 225 to lead USC at nine over par. Lorena Ochoa of Arizona won the individual title with a score of 207, followed by Tina Schneeberger of Tennessee (212) and Janice Olivencia of Texas (216).

Also for USC, juniors Mikaela Parmlid and Becky Lucidi tied for 36th (228), junior Yon Yim tied for 77th (240) and sophomore Anna Lee finished 98th (275).

The Women of Troy next compete at the Spartan Invitational in Carmel, Calif., on Mar. 4-6.
