Men's Tennis Defeats No. 75 Texas-Arlington, 5-2

LAS CRUCES, N.M. - The No.73-ranked University of Oregon men's tennis team defeated No.75-ranked Texas Arlington 5-2

The Duck's came away with wins in five of the six singles matches. Junior Jason Menke held off UTA's Tom Zarzeczny, with a final score of 7-6,6-3. Another Duck who played an outstanding match was sophomore Greg Dubourdieu who defeated Javier Carillo in straight sets,6-1, 6-2.

In doubles, Oregon's Oded Teig and Sven Swinnen played hard and won Oregon's only doubles game of the day by defeating UTA's Tom Zarzeczny and Alon Goldshuv, 8-2.

The Ducks face New Mexico Sunday at noon in Las Cruces, N.M.
