Pac-10 Swimming and Diving - Day 2 Results

After the second day of competition at the Pac-10 swimming and diving Championships, the Bruins are in fifth place with 664.5 points. Stanford holds first place with 916 points, followed by USC (792.5), Cal (765) and Arizona (740). Arizona State is in sixth place (539.5), followed by Washington (319.5), Oregon State (318) and Washington State (301).

UCLA's 200 medley relay team of LeAnne Cadag, Elvira Fischer, Katie Younglove and Sara Platzer finished seventh in 1:43.15). In the 400 IM, Brooke Winkler was 11th (4:21.33), Cathy Coler and Stacy Kearney tied for 12th (4:21.36) and Kim Scarborough was 15th (4:22.30). In the 100 Fly, Younglove was seventh (55.18) and Kristen Lewis was eighth (55.62). In the 200 Free, Malin Svahnstrom was fourth (1:47.53) and Sara Platzer tied for 15th (1:50.10). In the 100 Breast, Fischer was fifth (1:01.59), Jen Noddle was 10th (1:02.98) and Leslie Hovsepian was 11th (1:03.27). In the 100 Back, Naoko Watanabe was 13th (56.81), LeAnne Cadag was 19th (57.00) and Katie Winkelhaus was 23rd (58.22). The team of Jackie Lobdell, Platzer, Svahnstrom and Younglove placed fourth in the 800 Free relay in 7:23.11.
