UCLA Faces California In First Round of Pac-10 Tournament

UCLA will face California in the first round of the Pacific-10 Men's Basketball Tournament next Thursday night at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles. The Bruins are the No. 6 seed while the Golden Bears are the No. 3 seed.

The game will be the second of the evening session and will tipoff at approximately 9:00 p.m. Fox Sports AM 1150 will broadcast the game on the Bruin Radio Network. Fox Sports Net will televise the game.

The first game of the evening session, which begins at 6:30 p.m., is No. 2 seed Arizona versus No. 7 seed Arizona State. Should UCLA defeat California on Thursday, it would play the winner of the Arizona-ASU game Friday night at approximately 8:30 p.m.

Thursday's first game, which tips at 1:00 p.m., will have Pac-10 champ and No. 1 seed Oregon facing No. 8 seed Washington. At 3:30 p.m., No. 4 seed USC will face No. 5 seed Stanford. The winners of these two games will face each other Friday night at 6:00 p.m.

Fox Sports Net will televise all four games on Thursday and both games on Friday. CBS will carry the championship game Saturday at 3:10 p.m.
