ESPN, CBS and Ducks To Celebrate Men's Basketball Championship Sunday

EUGENE - ESPN and CBS will be broadcasting live from McArthur Court when the University of Oregon celebrates the school's first undisputed men's basketball conference championship in 63 years. The general public will also have the opportunity to view the unveiling of the 2002 NCAA men's basketball tournament bracket with the Ducks when they host a 'Pairings Party' Sunday afternoon in McArthur Court.

The event, which is free of charge, will feature appearances by Oregon head coach Ernie Kent and his staff, and will include the introduction of the 2002 basketball team, the traditional cutting down of the baskets' nets, the projection of CBS' NCAA Tournament Selection Show on big screen TVs and an invitation to stay for the taping of KEZI's weekly Oregon Basketball with Ernie Kent Show.

McArthur Court doors will open approximately 1:45 p.m. Sunday with the festivities to begin at about 2:15 p.m.
