March 10, 2002

EUGENE - Fifty tickets to the Ducks' first-round NCAA men's basketball tournament appearance Thursday in Sacramento, Calif., will be made available for purchase by University of Oregon students only beginning at 9 a.m. Monday at the Casanova Center Ticket Office.

Oregon is expected to receive a limited number of tickets for its second NCAA appearance in three years, with no other tickets from the university's allotment expected to be made available to the general public.

Tickets for first and second-round games in Sacramento are available by calling Arco Arena at (916) 928-6900, with the three-session ticket costing $150.

Oregon students will be allowed to purchase tickets for sessions only involving the Ducks, with each student eligible to buy only one ticket accompanied by a valid University of Oregon student I.D. and a Visa or MasterCard. First-round tickets for the Ducks' game against the University of Montana are $50 each, with the price of the second-round game automatically charged to each credit card should Oregon advance to play the winner of Thursday's Wake Forest-Pepperdine game on Saturday.
