The Ducks (21-13), winners of four straight and six of their last seven, play host to Houston (26-7, 11-3 Conference USA) Wednesday in the championship game of the Women's National Inivitation Tournament. Tipoff is at 7 p.m. at McArthur Court. It's Oregon's first postseason championship game since winning the NWIT in 1989. Oregon will try to become one of two teams in NCAA Division I women's basketball to finish its season with a win. Also, the Ducks are the lone Pac-10 team-men or women-still competing in the postseason.

Television broadcast for the WNIT championship is yet to be determined. All Oregon women's basketball games are broadcast by KSCR (1320 AM) in Eugene and KUIK (1360 AM) in Portland, with Ray Martin providing the play-by-play for the seventh consecutive year. Games that don't conflict with Oregon men's basketball broadcasts will be carried by KUGN (590 AM) in Eugene, KXL (750 AM) in Portland and KTBR (950 AM) in Roseburg. Radio broadcasts also can be heard on the Internet at
