Men's Golf In Fourth After First Day Of Morris Williams Intercollegiate

Austin, TX - The No. 10 USC men's golf team followed up a first-round 301 with a second-round 294 on Monday to move into fourth place with one round to go in the Morris Williams Intercollegiate hosted by the University of Texas at Austin Country Club.

The Trojans have a total score of 595, six strokes back of overall leader Texas (589). New Mexico and Oklahoma are second (590), then USC, and Oklahoma State and Pepperdine (596).

Former Trojan Hunter Mahan leads all individuals with a four-under-par 140. Senior Kevin Stadler has the low score for USC, sitting in eighth with a one-over-par 145.

Also for the Trojans, freshman Ben Hayes is tied for 21st (148), junior Chris Botsford is tied for 25th (149), junior David Oh is tied for 48th (155) and freshman Nico Bollini is tied for 62nd (158).

The final round of the Morris Williams Intercollegiate finishes up on Tuesday.
