Arizona State Men's Tennis Defeats Oregon, 5-2

EUGENE, Ore. - The University of Oregon men's tennis team dropped a 5-2 match Friday afternoon to Arizona State at the Student Tennis Center.

Oregon dropped to 12-6 and 0-3 in the Pac-10 on the season while Arizona State improved to 9-7 and 2-2 in conference play.

The Ducks' No. 1 doubles duo of Oded Teig and Sven Swinnen lost a close 9-8 match to Arizona State's Matt Klinger and Mitchell Bowen that helped set the table for the Sun Devils' victory.

In singles action, Arizona State won at the No's 1,2,3 all in straight sets and at the No. 5 positions where Olivier Charroin came back from a set down to win.

Arizona State next heads to Seattle to face Washington on Saturday at 12:00 p.m.
