Hurdler Charles Ryan Named Pac-10 T&F Track Athlete of the Week.

Sophomore hurdler/sprinter Charles Ryan has been named the Pac-10 Track and Field track athlete of the week for the week of April 1-8. Ryan clocked a season-best and Pac-10 leading time of 13.67w to win the 110m hurdles at the CA/AZ Challenge on Saturday. The NCAA automatic qualifying time was the second-best (wind-aided) mark of his career.

This week, Coach Art Venegas' Bruins will face Brigham Young University, which is tied for 22nd in the nation, and Cal State Northridge on Saturday, April 13 at Drake Stadium.

The Trackwire 25 is a power ranking of NCAA Division I track and field teams. Team rankings are based upon projected scores at the NCAA Championships, to be held May 29-June 1 in Baton Rouge, LA.
