Softball's Jessica Mendoza To Chat Live Today

Welcome to ESPN.com's moderated chat room. On Wednesday, Stanford softball player Jessica Mendoza, hits the chat room at 12:30 p.m. PT to talk about the third-ranked Cardinal 2002 season and postseason aspirations.
Mendoza, a 5-9 senior outfielder, is a three-time NFCA All-American and has been a fixture in the Cardinal starting lineup in center field. Last summer she was selected to one of two 16-player teams to represent the USA in international competitions and participated in the USA Women's National Team Camp over the summer. This year she is once again heading to the USA Women's National Team Camp for the opportunity to represent the U.S. in international competition this summer.
Mendoza, who hails from Camarillo, Calif., is a three-time All-Pac-10 selection as well and was tabbed Pac-10 Player of the Year in 2000. She holds numerous school records including season and career batting average, season and career hits, season and career homeruns, season and career runs scored and season and career stolen bases.
The Cardinal (35-8, 4-5 Pac-10) will face top-ranked Arizona this Friday, April 19 at 7 p.m. in the Boyd and Jill Smith Family Stadium. Stanford will take on No. 6 Arizona State on Saturday and Sunday with game times at 7 p.m. and 1 p.m. respectively
